About Me
Mental health is about more than just managing symptoms—it’s about understanding your story, fostering resilience, and finding a sense of peace in your daily life.
I’m Elizabeth MacDonald, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner helping individuals navigate mental health challenges with compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care.
I earned my Master’s degree in Nursing from Gonzaga University and specialize in providing mental health assessments and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults.
I currently practice at Elizabeth Doston LLC in Keizer, Oregon, offering both in-person and telehealth services to ensure accessible and flexible care.
Outside of my practice I enjoy hiking, being on the water, and gardening.

My Philosophy
I take a holistic and tailored approach to treatment—focusing not just on symptoms, but on the whole person.
Collaboration
You are the expert on your own life. I work with you to understand your experiences and goals so that we can develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs.
Evidence-Based Care
I provide treatments grounded in research and evidence-based practices. I ensure that recommendations for medication and therapy are appropriate for your needs and life circumstances.
Supportive Environment
Mental health treatment should be a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
I know that seeking help can be a difficult step, but you
don’t have to do it alone.
My role is to help you build resilience, gain insight,
and find the tools that will allow you to thrive—
at your own pace, in a way that feels right for you.
